VATRENI means fiery in Croatian and is a proud nickname of the national team. VATRENI is also an acronym for our vision: Virtual, Transparent and Rewarding, which describes how the product works.
It is the official loyalty token of the Croatian Football Federation and was launched in beta locally for Croatian fans in February 2022 via the official VATRENI website (https://token.hns-cff.hr/en). The aim is to create a loyalty program by bringing local fans and businesses together to create opportunities for fans to experience and connect with national teams and sponsors in a different way. The Croatian Football Federation plans to use this approach globally to build and reward its international fan base.
The idea is to drive all innovative projects related to Web3 through this innovation and bounty program. A team of external experts came together to build an exciting utility-driven approach. This focuses on rewarding fans who purchase or collect digital tokens that can be redeemed for various utilities such as ticketing, merchandise, physical and digital collectibles, Metaverse-related products, and more.
The Federation is also building a strong network of partners where VATRENI tokens will be integrated into multiple exciting ecosystems, or token holders will benefit from these projects. The plan is to announce these collaborations within the next 6 months. Also, take a different approach by bringing fans, sponsors, and teams together in their ecosystem rather than relying on third-party platforms.
