Curve is a decentralized liquidity pool exchange on Ethereum that provides extremely efficient stablecoin transactions. Launched in January 2020, Curve enables users to trade stablecoins with low slippage and low fees. Users can capture the transaction fees of their platform when providing liquidity. At the same time, it is connected to the DeFi protocols iearn and Compound to provide liquidity providers with additional income. The automated exchange method is also more user-friendly.
Curve is a liquidity pool for stablecoin transactions on Ethereum.
As the native functional token of the Curve platform, CRV is used for platform governance and rewards for liquidity providers. The transaction fees collected by some platforms will be used for the destruction of CRV tokens.
Since Curve only trades stablecoins, the temporary losses that liquidity providers may suffer are much smaller than in other token liquidity pools with large trading price fluctuations.
Curve's liquidity pool has been connected to iearn.finance (which itself uses Aave and Compound), so that the tokens of liquidity providers can also generate income when they are not used.
