Decred-Next is a new public chain created by a hard fork after the original Decred was upgraded to version V1.7 due to differences in community consensus. Decred-Next retains 60% of the original Decred’s POW, 30% of POS and 10% of the treasury The high security, strong adaptability and sustainable development of the hybrid consensus mechanism have excellent characteristics. Also, we plan to implement EVM, sharding, OmniLayer and other features in the future. Compared with the current Decred, Decred-Next will be more efficient, robust, dynamic and competitive.
