The Liqwid DAO Token (LQ) represents the community governance coordination mechanism of the Liqwid Protocol. LQ is used to propose upgrades, vote on and implement changes based on the results of Liqwid Improvement Proposals (LIPs). In addition to community governance, LQ can also be staked in the protocol's security pool (SP), providing security and insurance for the protocol and suppliers. LQ stakers can receive part of the income and staking rewards from the protocol.
