Moeda provides a simple and convenient end-to-end payment and end-to-end remittance network to help developers achieve their ambitious goals. From micro-merchant loans to large-scale crowdfunding projects, Fiat-connected Moeda e-tokens empower ordinary people around the world. Compared with cash, electronic tokens can be circulated more widely and faster. Through payment, remittance, and lending functions, the Moeda platform uses blockchain-driven Android and IOS software to help entrepreneurs who lack bank credit channels take advantage of convenience. Project Background

Moeda was launched at the UN Hackathon in 2017 to achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Through blockchain technology and our proprietary digital tokens (MDA, MDABRL), people around the world can quickly and transparently invest in these projects and influence sustainable growth.

Moeda was inspired by the fact that blockchain technology provides more confidence, efficiency, transparency and access to financing for those who cannot access funds through traditional systems. The company launched at the United Nations Hackathon in 2017 and successfully held a crowdfunding campaign. In 2018, Moeda began selecting and supporting 18 projects involving family farming cooperatives in Brazil.
We've built processes and synthesized learnings, in addition to closing key partnership deals that will apply as we open our portfolio to hundreds of seed projects in 2019. Upcoming steps include the launch of our currency seed app, which will facilitate investment, track seed projects and be used as a tool for entrepreneurs we support. Starting in 2019, Moeda will expand to other Latin American countries.

The Moeda Seed App is just one tool for an entire ecosystem based on identity, two digital token structures (MDA and MDABRL) and tracking project accountability. Our system is architected in a hybrid format, combining different technologies.

The Moeda Seed Program supports technical assistants so they can analyze, assess risks, select projects and follow up on investments and results. The results of each step are stored in our audit blockchain, which is connected with the MDABRL smart contract token to track all spending in the ecosystem. All results create attributes in the user's blockchain identity. You can only access investments if you have MDA tokens.
