Perlin is a scalable Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) protocol that introduces a different technical angle to distributed ledgers. Perlin attempts to create a market where users and suppliers can buy and sell distributed computing resources in an unstable environment.
Perlin innovatively uses the Avalanche protocol to develop distributed ledgers, utilizing the concept of metastable states to provide high throughput and scalability. The Avalanche protocol is briefly introduced later to help you understand it quickly.
PerlinX is Perlin's latest project, which aims to bring various traditional financial assets to the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
PerlinX hopes to allow decentralized trading of traditional financial assets through liquidity mining and synthetic asset generation.
PERL tokens are used on PerlinX to provide asset liquidity and generate synthetic assets (such as pxTokens: pxGold, pxCarbon).
The first 5 Balancer liquidity pools supported by PerlinX include TUSD, BUSD, USDC, BAL, and ETH.
