Safe, formerly known as Gnosis Safe, is on a mission to establish better ownership standards with smart contract accounts. Since 2018, Safe has evolved to support multiple EVM chains. Safe is a trusted platform to manage digital assets on Ethereum and multiple EVMs. As of September 2022, Safe accounts have been used to process more than 800,000 transactions and protect web3 digital assets worth more than $40 billion. The open source contract has been rigorously tested, and since Safe was deployed in 2018, there have been no major security incidents.
