ZKTube is a two-layer protocol that uses zero-knowledge proof and rollup of ZK rollup to achieve low transaction fees and high throughput transactions between ETH and erc20.
ZKTube is a project built and developed on Layer 2 using PLONK protocol based on ZK rollup technology. It can improve scalability by converting bulk transfers into individual transactions. Its essence is to ensure the correctness of the user state change process under the chain through the zero-knowledge proof mechanism, and at the same time compress and store the user state on the chain in the Merkle tree, and transmit the user state change to the chain. The cost of processing user state changes directly on the chain is relatively high, but only using smart contracts on the chain to verify the correctness of zero-knowledge proof PROOF is relatively low. In addition, the required remittance information is transmitted to the contract along with the voucher, which is convenient for the user to verify the account.
